At gamescom, gaming and technology merge into one of the most vibrant entertainment spectacles in the world. This year, illeon was right in the middle of the action alongside our client linkme, bringing advanced humanoid robotics straight to the gaming community on the official Where Winds Meet stage.
Robots at trade shows are nothing new, but we wanted to push the boundaries of dynamic live interaction.
For the linkme booth, our team took the AGIBOT A2 and outfitted it with:
-
Full Martial Arts Attire & Cape: Transforming the high-tech platform into a dynamic warrior fitting the mystical Where Winds Meet stage design.
-
Interactive Boxing & Combat Gear: Equipping the robot with boxing gloves for direct crowd engagements.
-
Custom Motion Choreography: Programming and fine-tuning fluid combat stances and dynamic martial arts movements that reacted live on stage.
The result? Continuous crowds, cheering visitors, and an electric atmosphere across the entire hall.

Human vs. Machine: YouTuber Challenge & Twitch Highlights
The real-world interaction reached another level when a visiting YouTuber decided to spontaneously challenge our combat-ready robot to a mock battle right in front of the audience. The fluid motion control and stable balancing of the A2 handled the live performance with ease.
The hype quickly spread beyond the exhibition booth to thousands of online viewers: During their live walk across gamescom, popular streamers Zarbex and Max Schradin visited the booth, featuring our AGIBOT A2 in their live broadcast!
