Agibot A2 Meets SAP at TRANSFORM Berlin

Agibot A2 Meets SAP at TRANSFORM Berlin

News / Kommentare 0

Humanoid robots often make headlines for impressive movements and demonstrations. But in industrial environments, the real question is: How can they make everyday operations easier and more efficient?

At TRANSFORM Berlin on March 18–19, 2026, our team at Illeon, together with SAP, explored exactly that.

Using the Agibot A2 humanoid robot, we demonstrated how tasks from an ERP system can be translated into physical actions in warehouse and manufacturing environments.

ERP systems already manage important business processes, from inventory to production planning. But carrying out these tasks still often requires manual work.

Our demonstration showed how a humanoid robot can become part of this process:

  • Direct communication: SAP sends work orders to the Agibot A2 through a REST API using JSON.

  • Intelligent execution: Our software translates these instructions into movements. With reinforcement and imitation learning, the robot can adapt to changing object positions.

  • Real-time feedback: The robot uses its onboard vision system to verify completed tasks and sends updates back to SAP, keeping inventory records up to date.

The goal is to connect digital business processes directly with physical operations.

Why Software Makes the Difference

Robot hardware has made huge progress in recent years. But making robots work reliably in real industrial environments takes more than advanced hardware.

At Illeon, we focus on what happens behind the scenes: software, system integration, and reliable communication between robots and existing business platforms.

Whether it's adapting to changing environments, managing robot fleets, or connecting to enterprise systems through REST, OPC UA, or MQTT, these are the building blocks needed to bring robotics into everyday operations.

TRANSFORM Berlin was a great opportunity to demonstrate what's possible when humanoid robotics meets enterprise software.

Our collaboration with SAP and the Agibot A2 showed how robots can become part of existing business workflows, moving beyond isolated demonstrations toward practical industrial applications.
